City of Centerville <br />EDA Meeting Minutes <br /> January 19, 2022 <br />2. Partner Agency Reports <br />a. Anoka County Regional Economic Development (ACRED) <br />The executive director for ACRED offered to meet with City officials for an annual check-in to <br />ensure the CityÓs goals align with ACREDÓs. <br /> b. Quad Area Chamber of Commerce <br />th <br />Executive Director stated that the Quad Area Chamber is planning a business EXPO on April 4 <br />at the Centennial School. Lunch and learns are also planned for the year, with the first one <br />occurring in February. <br /> <br />c. Hugo Area Business Association <br /> <br />Executive Director Statz stated that HugoÓs State of the City address will take place in March. <br />Centerville staff will attend and give an update from the City. <br /> <br />3. Year to Date Financials <br /> <br />Executive Director Statz stated there is no added information. <br /> <br />4. Ongoing Programs: <br /> <br /> a. Blue Logo Sign <br /> <br />Executive Director Statz reported there will be a full report next month. <br /> <br /> b. CenterStage <br /> <br />Executive Director Statz reported that they reached out to three new businesses. <br /> <br />c. Business Revolving Loan and Grant Program <br /> <br />Executive Director Statz reviewed there are no new applications. <br /> <br />d. COVID Relief Business Assistance Grant Programs <br /> <br />Executive Director Statz stated there are no new programs. <br /> <br />VII. OLD BUSINESS <br /> <br />1. 1737 Main Street Î Mike Brass reviewed drawings and financials on several mixed- <br />use development scenarios involving retail and apartments in the downtown area. <br />Mr. Brass noted that all of the proposed scenarios result in a negative cash flow. <br /> Page 5 of 5 <br /> <br />
