City of Centerville <br />EDA Minutes <br /> November 17, 2021 <br />Executive Director Statz presented check #001016 in the amount of $1,747.92 made out to City of <br />Centerville. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner ___, seconded by Commissioner ____, to approve the check list as <br />presented. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> b. Second Check List <br /> <br />Executive Director Statz provided some background and explained why there is a second list of <br />checks. He stated they can expect to see these items reconciled within the budget soon. <br />Motion by Commissioner Weatherhead, seconded by Commissioner Remillard to approve <br />the second check list as presented. All in favor. Motion carried. <br />2. Communications <br />a. Centennial HS Thank You <br />Executive Director Statz presented the note received from Centennial High School thanking the <br />Commission for their donations recently. <br />President Hanzal stated it is always nice to be appreciated and noted they were happy to help. <br />VI. REPORTS <br />1. Administrator’s Report <br /> <br />Executive Director Statz stated the City is hiring an Assistant City Administrator they are <br />interviewing candidates after Thanksgiving. <br />Executive Director Statz reviewed the current programs and projects. He provided the statusand <br />progress of each project currently underway in the City. <br /> <br />2. Partner Agency Reports <br />a. Anoka County Regional Economic Development (ACRED) <br /> <br />Executive Director Statz stated next up on the ACRED Calendar is the "UpRiver Real Estate <br />Event" at Running Aces from 8:30 - 11:30AM on Thursday, November 18 and noted he will be <br />speaking at the event. <br />th <br />President Hanzal provided an overview of the MNCAR Expo which was held on October 27. <br />He stated he had an opportunity to speak with a lot of people and enjoyed the event. <br /> b.
