Max Storage (Fairview
Street)
A public hearing was held on
February 1 to review an
application for a Conditional
Use Permit (CUP) to operate
what is being termed a ÐMaxi
StorageÑ facility. The
proposed development would
consist of 2 buildings, each
with 8 for-lease units which
would include a large overhead door, and enough space (50Ó x 208Ó) to house equipment for
small contractors working in the trades. The heated units may also be available for rental to
store personal items, such as RVs, boats and other large equipment.
The Planning and Zoning Commission had a number of comments and questions for the
applicants to address, including landscaping, operational and building code issues. The public
hearing for the project has been left open to allow for further public comment. We anticipate
st
the applicant addressing the comments at the next P&Z meeting on March 1.
CODE ENFORCEMENT
General
Sidewalk snow removal

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
Web Site
Social Media
Center Stage
AdministratorÓs Report uploaded
Meeting Agendas
Committee Agendas/Packets uploaded

Public Hearings
Reader Board

Meeting Schedules
Community Email List
Community Events AdministratorÓs Report
Meeting Agendas
FINANCE
American Rescue Plan (ARP)
The City Council reviewed information from the Finance Director regarding the eligibility of
certain expenses and the opportunity to recover lost revenue. The US Treasury has now
finalized their guidance on lost revenue, which provides a flat amount for recovery by each
city, which is well above CentervilleÓs allotment. If funds are allocated for lost revenue, they
must simply be spent on general government expenses. Council has not made formal
commitments yet.

Annual Audit
The cityÓs Auditors will be engaging with city staff and elected official in mid-March this
year to complete our annual audit. This process ensures the cityÓs policies and procedures are
operating properly and that the cityÓs finances are in good standing.
