Portable Restroom Contract <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Koski, seconded by Council Member Lakso to Approve the <br />Consent Agenda as Presented. A roll-call vote was taken. Council Members King, Koski, <br />Lakso, Mosher and Mayor Love voted in favor. Motion carried. <br />VIII.OLD BUSINESS <br />1. Ordinance #120, Second Series, Amendments to Sign Ordinance (Second Reading) <br />This is the second reading of Ordinance # 120, Second Series, and Amendments to the Sign <br />Ordinance. The amendments add the B-2 district to the ordinance. <br />Motion by Council Member Lakso, seconded by Council Member Mosher to Adopt <br />Ordinance # 120, Second Series Î Revising Chapter 152: Sign Regulations and Authorizing <br />Publication of the Attached Summary. A roll-call vote was taken. Council Members King, <br />Koski, Lakso, Mosher and Mayor Love voted in favor. Motion carried. <br />2. Ordinance #121, Second Series, Amendments to Land Dedication Ordinance (Second <br />Reading) <br />This is the second reading of Ordinance #121, Second Series, and Amendments to the Land <br />Dedication Ordinance. The ordinance provides clarification as it pertains to parkland dedication <br />and/or a fee in lieu of land. State Statute allows 10% per acreage, or a fee in lieu of land and fee <br />commensurate value of land and two to be equivalent. Discussion ensued about how fees in lieu <br />of land are calculated, noting that the cityÓs fees are reasonable compared to other cities. The <br />ordinance also provides clarity in reference to physical land/real property, understanding that land <br />dedication could be money or land, or a combination of both. <br />Motion by Council Member Lakso, seconded by Council Member Koski to Adopt Ordinance <br />#121, Second Series, Amendments to Land Dedication Ordinance (Second Reading) with text <br />amendments clarifying the language in the ordinance as noted in the discussion above. A <br />roll-call vote was taken. Council Members King, Koski, Lakso, Mosher and Mayor Love <br />voted in favor. Motion carried. <br />3. Eagle Park Tree Clearing <br /> <br />Administrator Statz reviewed the scope of work outlined in the quote from LangerÓs Tree Service <br />for the removal of eighty-three trees from Eagle Park.
