City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />January 12, 2022 <br /> <br />X. COUNCIL/ADMINISTRATOR ANNOUNCEMENTS <br /> <br />1. Administrator’s/Engineer Report – Attorney Glaser is filling in for <br />Administrator Statz who was sick. Attorney Glaser reported that they are going <br />back to full courts, which is good because of the back log of work. It is highly likely <br />they will be working from home again soon due to the pandemic. Attorney Glaser <br />thanked the board for reappointing him and let the council know that he enjoys his <br />working with them. <br /> <br />2. Council Reports <br />a. Lakso - <br />i. Parks and Recreation Committee – Upcoming skate/sled night & <br />planning for music in the park, and the Fete des Lacs meeting. <br />ii. Anoka County Fire Protection Council – No report was given. <br /> <br />b. Koski - <br />i. Planning & Zoning Commission – Council Member Koski stated <br />Discussion topics were outside storage in residential areas. One of <br />the points of contention at the public hearing was how far away from <br />the curb can vehicles be parked. Liquor requirements were also <br />discussed (establishments cannot be within 500 feet of a church or <br />school). <br />ii. Fire Steering Committee - Council Member Koski stated that there <br />has not been a meeting; however, there may be one later in the <br />month. <br /> <br />c. King - <br />Economic Development Authority – No report was given. <br />d. Mosher - <br />i. Economic Development Authority – No report was given. <br />ii. Police Governing Board – No report was given. <br /> <br />e. Love - <br />i. Police Governing Board – No report was given. <br />ii. Fire Steering Committee – No report was given. <br />iii. North Metro Telecommunications Commission - No report was <br />given. <br />iv. Other Mayor Reports – Mayor Love welcomed Jr. Council <br />Member Danny Peterson; he also thanked all the Council Members <br />for their service. Mayor Love also mentioned that he had an <br />opportunity to talk with members in other communities about the <br />importance of civility and the importance of “push positivity.” <br /> <br />XI. ADJOURNMENT <br />Motion by Council Member King, seconded by Council Member Lakso to Adjourn the <br />Regularly Scheduled Council Meeting at 8:38 p.m. All in favor.
