City of Centerville <br />Council Work Session & City Council Meeting Minutes <br />December 8, 2021 <br /> <br /> <br />Additional discussion ensued regarding the scheduling and posting requirements. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Koski, seconded by Council Member Lakso to Hold a Special <br />Meeting with a Closed Session on Monday, December 13, 2021 commencing at 6:30 p.m. All <br />in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Administrator Statz stated that the meeting would be posted the following day allowing ample <br />time to comply with State Statute. <br /> <br />X. COUNCIL/ADMINISTRATOR ANNOUNCEMENTS <br /> <br />1. Administrator’s Report <br /> <br />Administrator Statz had nothing to report. <br /> <br />2. Council Reports <br /> <br />a. Lakso - <br /> <br />i. Anoka County Fire Protection Council – No report was given. <br />ii. Parks and Recreation Committee – Council Member Lakso stated that a <br />Centennial Community Education Representative attended the meeting and <br />suggested opportunities for collaboration in events. <br /> <br />b. Koski – Council Member Koski wanted to thank all individuals in uniform (military, <br />EMTs, and all other individuals that serve and are away from their families. He also wanted <br />to state that it was Pearl Harbor Day yesterday and thanked our Veterans and their families. <br /> <br />i. Fire Steering Committee – No report was given. <br />ii. Planning & Zoning Commission – Council Member Koski asked if Administrator <br />Statz remind him of the meeting. Administrator Statz stated that discussions took <br />place regarding revisions to the sign ordinance for inclusion of the B-2 zoning <br />district and revisions regarding Park Dedication. He stated that it was a short <br />agenda. <br /> <br />c. King – Council Member King wish all a Merry Christmas. <br /> <br />i. Economic Development Authority – No report was given. <br /> <br />d. Mosher – <br /> <br />i. Economic Development Authority – No report was given. <br />ii. Police Governing Board – No report was given. <br /> <br />Administrator DeJong stated that staff would be completing an additional claims listing prior to <br />the end of the year and the listing will be on Council’s January Agenda. <br />Page 14 of 15 <br /> <br /> <br />
