CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION & COUNCIL MEETING <br />February 23, 2022 <br />6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City of Centerville held their regularly scheduled City <br />Council Work Session & Council Meeting on February 23, 2022 via Zoom. The meeting was also <br />live streamed by North Metro TV. <br /> <br />COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br />I. CALL TO ORDER <br />Mayor D. ITEMS OF DISCUSSION <br />1. Commissioner Reinert, Anoka County Commission, District 6 <br />Administrator Statz introduced Commissioner Reinert and stated that the purpose of his visit was <br />to provide the City of Centerville and itÓs Council with an annual review of the projects <br />proposed/completed on behalf of the Anoka County Board. <br />Commissioner Reinart introduced himself to the Council and stated that he had attended the <br />Centerville Lions annual fishing contest. He stated that it is a great event and coordinated well. <br /> <br />He gave a brief background of his years of service on the Lino Lakes City Council. He discussed <br />the County levy, delivery of human services, zero budget increases for the last two (2) years, levy <br />decrease, attempting to find efficiencies in staffing and expenditures during COVID, operating <br />more efficiently and effectively, construction of a new 540 cell jail, 911 Center improvements, <br />parking ramp improvements, Chomonix Golf Course being profitable, trail system improvements, <br />representing the District to obtain funding and working with Representatives on collaborative <br />projects.
