All in favor. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Capra and Council Member Terway abstained from voting. <br /> <br />2. August 2, 2006 City Council Work Session Meeting Minutes <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Terway, seconded by Council Member Paar to approve <br />the August 2, 2006 City Council Work Session meeting minutes as presented. All in <br />favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />V. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />VI. AWARDS/PRESENTATIONS/APPEARANCES <br /> <br />1. Thank You From Council for Fete des Lacs Volunteers <br /> <br />Mayor Capra thanked everyone involved with making this year’s Fete des Lacs Festival a <br />resounding success. She then thanked everyone for participating in the parade and those <br />that cleaned up and Council Member Lee and his family for the hard work on the parade. <br /> <br />Mayor Capra thanked North Metro Cable, the Police Department, the Kieselhorst family <br />and everyone involved. She then publicly thanked the Lions for their efforts for the <br />Festival and noted that Mr. Sweeney noted an underage person drinking and the police <br />were notified and the situation rectified immediately. <br /> <br />Page 2 of 8 <br />
