Centerville 2040 Comprehensive Plan <br /> <br /> <br />Medlink is operated Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Metro Mobility, a service <br />provided by the Metropolitan Council is available for Centerville residents who are unable to <br />use regular fixed route buses due to a disability or health condition. <br />A VIATION P LAN <br />Centerville is not within any influence area of an airport within the regional airspace system. <br />The closest airport is Anoka County-Janes Field in Blaine, approximately nine miles west of the <br />City. Centerville is identified by the Metropolitan Council as a City potentially impacted by <br />seaplane base activity. The City will cooperate with the Minnesota Department of <br />Transportation regarding activities that may have potential impact on seaplane operations. The <br />City regulates the construction of objects affecting navigable airspace as well as structures and <br />activities which have the potential to cause electronic interference. The City will notify the <br />Federal Aviation Agency of any proposed structures exceeding 200 feet. <br />F REIGHT <br />There are no rail lines, barge facilities or intermodal freight terminals with the City of Centerville. <br />The City does have land guided for commercial and industrial land in the southeastern portion <br />of the City that once developed is anticipated to generate increased commercial traffic. This <br />st <br />traffic will travel along 21 Avenue North to CSAH 14 to connect to Interstate 35E. There are <br />presently no issues related to insufficient height, width, or turning radii along that route that <br />would inhibit commercial traffic.
