Special Event Permit – Private Property, Quad Area Senior Wellness <br />Program – St. Genevieve’s Community Parish Center, 6995 Centerville <br />Road, May 19, 2022, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. <br /> <br />Mayor Love provided an opportunity for others to add or delete any items. <br /> <br />Council Member King requested that Item #7 be pulled. Council Member Mosher requested that <br />Item #5 be pulled and Council Member Koski requested that Item #6 be pulled. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Koski, seconded by Council Member King to Approve the <br />Consent Agenda Items #1-4 & Item #8 as presented. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Council Member Mosher asked about the Park Maintenance budgeted amounts. Administrator <br />Statz stated that he did not have the information currently in front of him. That he would get <br />information to Council Member Mosher but that the expenditure was to freshen the fields per a <br />complaint of the Lions. Discussion ensued regarding the fields being too wet during the season. <br />Council Liaison Lakso stated that the ag. lime has been recommended by the Committee along <br />with the Public Works Director’s recommendation for repair of the backstop. Additional <br />discussion ensued regarding complaints by teams not wanting to play on the City’s fields for any <br />reason, dialing back the irrigation system during playing season, the location of the bases <br />purchased by the lions and reasoning for their installation procedure. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Lakso, seconded by Council Member Mosher to Approve <br />Consent Agenda Item #5 as Presented. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Council Member Koski stated that he was happy that residents were taking advantage of the City’s <br />Park by utilizing it for a graduation party. He hoped that they have great weather and a good time. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Koski, seconded by Council Member King to Approve <br />Consent Agenda Item #6 as Presented. All in favor.
