City of Centerville <br />EDA Meeting Minutes <br /> March 16, 2022 <br /> <br />Executive Director Statz reviewed the two checks in the packet. Check # 1027 is for the <br />architectural fees on the proposed development of 1737 Main Street. Check # 1028 is for dues for <br />the Anoka County Regional Economic Development Association (ACRED). <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Mosher and seconded by Commissioner King to approve the <br />checks as presented. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />2. Communications <br />None <br /> <br />VI. REPORTS <br /> <br /> 1. Administrator’s Report <br /> <br />Executive Director Statz reviewed the Administrator’s Report as presented in the packet. <br /> <br />2. Partner Agency Reports <br /> <br />a. Anoka County Regional Economic Development (ACRED) <br /> <br />Executive Director Statz mentioned the upcoming PGA/3M Open in July, noting that the city hosts <br />a tent at this event and he suggested that the city invite people who are interested in properties in <br />the city (representatives 1737 Main Street and the Brew Pub/others, etc.). <br /> <br /> b. Quad Area Chamber of Commerce <br /> <br />The Event/Vendor Extravaganza has been post-poned until 2/2023 due to internal planning <br />concerns. The Tuesday Town hall and Listening Session with State Rep. Donald Raleigh (38A) is <br />hosting a town hall meeting from 6pm-7pm at Centennial Library in the Centennial Community <br />Room. <br />b. Hugo Area Business Association <br /> <br />Hugo Area Business Association - HBA held their monthly meeting on March 7th. They talked <br />about their upcoming Egg Hunt on April 9th at Hanifl Fields from, 9am-10:30am, and also from <br />12:00pm-1:30pm. <br /> <br />3. Year to Date Financials <br />None <br />4.
