CITY OF CENTERVILLE PARKS & RECREATION COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City of CentervilleÓs Parks & Recreation Committee held a scheduled meeting on May 4, 2022 in the Council Chambers at the Centerville City Hall and was also livestreamed at: https://northmetrotv.com/channel-15-live-stream. Present: Committee Member Kathy Freiermuth Committee Member Jessica Kubat Committee Member Brian Peterson Committee Member Suzanne Seeley Not Approved Also Present: Ms. Teresa Bender, City Clerk Ms. Michelle Lakso, City Council Liaison Absent: C ommittee Member Heidi Errickson-Grahek Committee Member Emem Akpan Mr. Mark Statz, City Administrator I. CALL TO ORDER Acting Chair Seeley called the May 4, 2022 meeting to order at 6:38 p.m. II. APPROVAL OF AGENDA Motion made by Committee Member Kubat, seconded by Committee Member Peterson to add the following items to the agenda under VI. New Business: #4. Swap out swing seats in two of the parks and VIII Updates #a. Mowing Contract. All in favor. Motion carried. III. APPEARANCES Mayor Love appeared to present a donation from the Centerville Lions Club to the P & R Committee in the amount of $500. Motion made by Committee Member Seeley, seconded by Committee Member Freiermuth to accept the $500 donation from the Centerville Lions Club and to have staff send a thank you note to them. All in favor. Motion carried. IV. PUBLIC HEARINGS Î NONE V. UNFINISHED BUSINESS 1. 22-001: Music in the Park, Tuesdays, June 14 through August 16, except July 9, 2022 a. Musicians Î July 26, 2022 still needs to be filled. Committee Member Peterson gave an update and stated that they were up 1 band and lost a band for the spot of July 26. He stated that he has no concerns in filling this spot. He has a list of bands that would be willing to play that are local. He mentioned all of the bands and dates of when they were playing.
