CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />PARKS & RECREATION COMMITTEE <br />MEETING MINUTES <br /> <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City of CentervilleÓs Parks & Recreation Committee held a <br />scheduled meeting on May 4, 2022 in the Council Chambers at the Centerville City Hall and was also <br />livestreamed at: https://northmetrotv.com/channel-15-live-stream. <br /> <br />Present: Committee Member Kathy Freiermuth <br /> Committee Member Jessica Kubat <br /> Committee Member Brian Peterson <br /> Committee Member Suzanne Seeley <br /> Not Approved <br />Also Present: Ms. Teresa Bender, City Clerk <br /> Ms. Michelle Lakso, City Council Liaison <br /> <br />Absent: C ommittee Member Heidi Errickson-Grahek <br /> Committee Member Emem Akpan <br /> Mr. Mark Statz, City Administrator <br /> <br />I. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br /> Acting Chair Seeley called the May 4, 2022 meeting to order at 6:38 p.m. <br /> <br />II. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion made by Committee Member Kubat, seconded by Committee Member Peterson to add the <br />following items to the agenda under VI. New Business: #4. Swap out swing seats in two of the <br />parks and VIII Updates #a. Mowing Contract. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />III. APPEARANCES <br /> <br />Mayor Love appeared to present a donation from the Centerville Lions Club to the P & R Committee in <br />the amount of $500. <br /> <br />Motion made by Committee Member Seeley, seconded by Committee Member Freiermuth to <br />accept the $500 donation from the Centerville Lions Club and to have staff send a thank you note <br />to them. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />IV. PUBLIC HEARINGS Î NONE <br /> <br />V. UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> <br />1. 22-001: Music in the Park, Tuesdays, June 14 through August 16, except July 9, 2022 <br /> <br />a. Musicians Î July 26, 2022 still needs to be filled. <br /> <br />Committee Member Peterson gave an update and stated that they were up 1 band and lost a band for the <br />spot of July 26. He stated that he has no concerns in filling this spot. He has a list of bands that would <br />be willing to play that are local. He mentioned all of the bands and dates of when they were playing. <br /> <br />
