Our Cities, Our Department, Our Mission, Our <br />Motto, and Our Values. <br />The Cities of Centerville, Circle Pines, and Lexington are suburban communities that are part of a metropolitan area <br />that is conveniently located just north of Minneapolis/St. Paul. The quality of life for our citizens is exceptional. Our <br />community offers affordable housing, a variety of recreational and open space opportunities, convenient shopping, as <br />well as very responsive municipal services. <br />There are excellent educational opportunities available forour residents through the Centennial School District and <br />numerous quality colleges and universities within easy commuting distance. Our community affords the serenity, <br />safety, and stability of small-town living yet we are close to the amenities of the big city. <br />safe in their homes, neighborhoods, parks, and schools. They are also appreciative of the high quality of local safety <br />services. <br />Our three Cities have combined resources to create the Centennial Lakes Police Department, a unique joint governance <br />law enforcement agency. We are comprised of 24 highly professional sworn and civilian personnel who are dedicated <br />to delivering quality safety service to our citizens. <br />Local fire protection and suppression service is provided by the Centennial Fire District and the Lexington Fire <br />Department. These agencies combinedwith the Centennial Lakes Police Departmentandthe Allina and MHealth <br />Ambulance services provide an excellent emergency medical rapid response system. <br />Our officers respond to all calls for service, enforce criminal and traffic laws, provide deterrent patrol, engage in <br />proactive policing and problem-solving measures, and foster positive interactions with our citizens. <br />It is the mission of the Centennial Lakes Police Department to enhance the quality of life for those living in our three <br />Cities by providing highly professional and responsive safety service. <br />We are dedicated to carrying out our mission with pride and professionalism.
