CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />REQUEST FOR <br />COUNCIL ACTION <br />Agenda Item # Department: Requested Council Meeting Date: <br />June 8, 2022 <br />Administration <br />IX.7 <br />TITLE OF ISSUE: <br />Moving June 20 council meeting to June 21 <br />BACKGROUND AND SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION: <br />At the last city council meeting, council moved their June 22 meeting to June 20 because several board <br />members will be attending a conference on the 22nd. Staff is requesting that council consider moving the June <br />20 meeting to June 21, due to national observance of the Juneteenth federal holiday. <br />City Attorney Glasser advised that the Open meeting law does not allow Council meetings on a holiday per <br />Minn. Stat. 645.44.
