City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />May 11, 2022 <br /> <br />Administrator Statz stated that the contract was unclear and if the prices change staff would revisit. <br />Administrator Statz stated that it would increase the contract by approximately $2,000. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Koski to approve additional costs for lawn service contract for <br />2022. <br /> <br />Discussion ensued regarding the ability for the fuel surcharge to be broken out on the billing and <br />having discussions with the contractor to decrease the fuel surcharge if prices fall below $4/gallon <br />for a period of time, whether the surcharge could be broken out on the bill, if continued trending <br />under $4/gallon to revert to the original contact. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Koski, seconded by Council Member Mosher to Approve the <br />Additional Costs for the Lawn Service Contract for 2022 with Staff Requesting the Fuel <br />Surcharge being an Individual Line Item on the Billing and the Contractor Agreeing to <br />Reverting Back to the Contract Language if Trends, Trend Below $4/Gallon. Council <br />Members Koski, Lakso, Mosher & Mayor Love voted in favor. Council Member King <br />Abstained. (4/1) Motion carried. <br /> <br />Item #6 - Council Member Koski stated that Assistant City Administrator Lewis has been working <br />with several veteran organizations and the placement of an advertisement in the Quad Community <br />Press honoring veterans. He stated that Memorial Day is all about honoring those who served and <br />that he appreciated the Quad Press for their support of our veterans. Mayor Love stated that he <br />felt that this fit in the City’s Strategic Plan and being more involved. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Koski, seconded by Council Member King to Approve Consent <br />Agenda items 6 as presented. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />VIII. OLD BUSINESS <br /> <br />1. Revised CivicPlus Contract <br /> <br />Assistant City Administrator Lewis reviewed the Request for Council Action with Council as <br />submitted in Council packet. <br /> <br />Discussion ensued regarding launch date as being 16-20 weeks from this evening, design process <br />and Council’s review, design, color palette ease of change, not a standard package similar to our <br />existing website, update of progress/presentation, launching of the website and APP in unison, <br />data responsibility/liability in contract/insurance and the use of an independent payment firm for <br />accepting payments. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Koski, seconded by Council Member Mosher to Approve the <br />CivicPlus Contract ("Scope of Work" and "Master Services Agreement")for Website Re- <br />Design as Presented.
