With the <br />relatively low volume of traffic on <br />either side road, this intersection alignment has not caused major issues, to date. Obviously, it would not <br />make sense to construct a turn lane <br />on 20th Avenue, if ultimately, <br />Fairview Street was realigned for <br />either a signal or roundabout. <br />City and County engineering staff <br />have been discussing a Corridor <br />Study which would help determine <br />the appropriate intersection <br />treatment here. The two agencies <br />continue to work towards an <br />agreement on the timing of any <br />improvements. <br />
