Ordinance XX 12-22-2021 <br />§ 156.165 OUTSIDE STORAGE. <br />(A)Permitted Areas of Outside Storage. Outside storage is permitted on all areas of a parcel <br />and the permitted driveway excepts those areas noted as prohibited in this section. <br />(B)Prohibited Areas of Outside Storage. <br />a.Outside storage is prohibited between the street and the street-facing plane of a <br />structure except on the permitted driveway surface. <br />b.Outside storage is prohibited within two (2) feet of a side lot line. <br />Commented \[CP1\]: 156.166(L) says no driveway within 5 <br />ft of a side lot line <br />c.Outside storage is prohibited On a permitted driveway within ten (10) feet of the <br />back of curb or edge of pavement on a public street, from blocking a sidewalk or <br />trail, or from creating a public nuisance. <br />(C)Single Family Properties In All Zoning Districts. All products, materials and equipment, <br />except as specifically provided in this chapter, shall be stored within permitted <br />structures on single family properties in all zoning districts, except for the following: <br />Single family properties in all zoning districts: <br />(1)Permitted Items of Outside Storage. <br />(a)Agricultural products, equipment and appurtenances owned by <br />the owner of the property and used on the property on which they <br />are kept. <br />(b)Clotheslines, antennae, air conditioners, outdoor grills, play <br />equipment, ornaments, and monuments. <br />(c)(b)Temporary storage of materials and equipment during construction <br />and landscaping for a period of no greater than 15 days; and <br />Commented \[KG2\]: Deleted because this is repetitive. <br />This topic is address below in “Construction Storage”. <br />(d)(c)Lakeshore properties can store the following items of <br />personal property within 50 feet of the shoreline during the <br />months from September to May: docks, boatlifts, swim rafts, <br />slides, and other swimming equipment. <br />(e)(d)Any number of Ppassenger vehicles in a lawful and operable <br />Commented \[CP3\]: 1-4-22 notes: yes, only allow <br />passenger vehicles on driveway, not in yard <br />condition, displaying valid registration, when parked on the <br />permitted driveway area. <br />(f)(e)Any number of registered and operable passenger vehicles <br />shall be allowed on a permitted driveway.
