Ordinance XX 12-22-2021 <br />(b)All licensed and operational motor vehicles shall be parked on the permitted <br />driveway area. Any unlicensed, nonoperational vehicles must be stored in <br />an enclosed structure; <br />(c)A maximum of two of the following units may be stored outside of a <br />structure for more than 48 hours on any residential parcel, provided they are <br />stored on the permitted driveway area outside of the road right-of-way or are <br />in a side or rear yard. A licensed motor home or fifth-wheel trailer is <br />allowed in a side or rear yard. None of the following items may have an <br />overall length from front to back in excess of 35 feet: <br />1.Boat; <br />2.Camper; <br />3.Motor home; <br />4.Snowmobiles; <br />5.Personal watercraft; <br />6.Personal utility trailer; <br />7.Ice house; and <br />8.Small construction equipment. <br />(d)Clothes lines, antennae, air conditioners, outdoor grills, play equipment, <br />ornaments and monuments; <br />(e)Temporary storage of materials and equipment during construction and <br />landscaping; and <br />(f)Lakeshore properties can store the following items of personal property <br />within 50 feet of the shoreline during the months from September to May: <br />docks, boat lifts, swim rafts, slides and other swimming equipment. <br />(2)Commercial/industrial districts. As an accessory use, storage of products, <br />materials and equipment, excluding rubbish or junk, which is necessary to an <br />approved business operation in a commercial or industrial district, with the <br />following provisions: <br />(a)The storage area must be completely screened from adjoining properties and <br />rights-of-way. <br />(b)The ratio of storage area to building footprint shall not exceed 2.5:1. <br />(c)The site plan review process is required to determine the appropriateness for <br />storage permitted in the section, surfacing required for the storage area and <br />the screening required. <br />Section 3.
