The city shall verify and investigate the facts set forth in the application and conduct any necessary <br />criminal background checks to assure compliance with this chapter. <br /> <br />Ord. #71, adopted 11/13/2002 <br /> <br />§ 114.07 LICENSE PERIOD AND LICENSE FEES. <br /> <br /> The term of the license is the calendar year or the remaining portion thereof. The fee will not be <br />prorated. The fee for a license is set forth by the City Council by annual resolution. The fee must be submitted <br />at the time the application is filed. Application fees are nonrefundable. <br /> <br />Ord. #71, adopted 11/13/2002 <br /> <br />§ 114.08 PERSONS INELIGIBLE FOR LICENSE. <br /> <br /> A license may not be issued to an applicant, partner or other person in charge of the licenses if the <br />applicant: <br />(A) Is a minor at the time the application is filed; <br />(B) Has been convicted of any crime directly related to the occupation licensed as prescribed by M.S. § <br />364.03, Subdivision 2, as amended, and has not shown competent evidence of sufficient rehabilitation <br />and present fitness to perform the duties of the licensed occupation as prescribed by M.S. § 364.03, <br />Subdivision 3, as amended; or <br />(C) Does not have the legal authority to be employed in the United States. <br />Ord. #71, adopted 11/13/2002 <br />§ 114.09 GENERAL LICENSE REQUIREMENTS. <br />(A) Tattoos on minors. It is unlawful to tattoo, pierce, brand or paint a person under the age of 18 except in <br />the presence of and with the written permission of the parent or legal guardian of the minor. <br />(B) Prohibition on license transfer. A license is for the person and the premises named on the approved <br />license application. Transfer of a license is not permitted from place to place or from person to person <br />without first complying with the requirements of an original application, except where an existing non- <br />corporate licensee is incorporated and incorporation does not affect the ownership, control and interest <br />of the existing licensed establishment. <br />(C) Hours of operation. A licensed establishment may not be open for business before 7:00 a.m. nor after <br />11:00 p.m. <br />191tğŭĻ <br /> <br />
