City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />June 8, 2022 <br />processes at the administrative department, promoted Officer Katie Mannen to Corporal. She is <br />the first female in history and she is also up for the position of Detective. Mr. Dennis Spring retire <br />on Friday. He stated that Officers Johnson and Shroeder received a Life Saving Award. Officer <br />Konda was sworn in. Officer Jon Kruger was promoted to Corporal. He has been a great asset to <br />the department. He has been on the department for over 25 years. He stated that one of thing they <br />donÓt want to overlook is the prescription drug drop-off program. This program is very well <br />utilized. He reviewed some of the community events that the department is involved with (Fete <br />des Lacs, Fall Festivals for example. <br /> <br />He reviewed stats numbers with crime. In Centerville from previous year to 2021 there was an <br />increase of 193 calls. In Lexington went up 987 and Circle Pines went from 4906 and decrease to <br />4372 last year. A decrease of 500 overall calls. Over all calls for the area was approximately for <br />last year was nearly 15,000 calls per service and that was increase of over 1100 from the previous <br />year. He stated the overall citation for last was 1305 and written and verbal warning were almost <br />4500. He stated that one of the biggest issues in the neighborhood is the speed of vehicles. <br />Mayor Love asked how the revenue gets distributed for out of area. Chief stated that heÓs not sure <br />how itÓs distributed. Attorney Glaser explained that how the funds were distributed. <br /> <br />Mayor Love give council an opportunity for comments. All Council Members and Jr. Council <br />member thanked Chief Mork for the presentation and for his service. <br /> <br />2. Mr. Tyler See, Abdo Solutions Î 2021 Audit Presentation <br /> <br />Mr. Tyler See, Abdo Solutions, reviewed the 2021 Audit. He stated that there was one correction <br />that needed to be made to the audit capital assets which does not affect the statements. Mayor Love <br />noted that there was an error on page 116 as to his term in office. Mr. See stated that this will be <br />corrected. He stated that there were no compliance issues. He reviewed the general fund, water, <br />sewer, storm water funds, garbage and recycling fund, street fund balances and debt service funds. <br />Also discussed was the CARES Act fund and the upgrades made to City Hall and Cable equipment. <br /> <br />A lengthy discussion ensued. <br /> <br />Mayor Love thanked Mr. See and stated he appreciates them coming out and reviewing the Audit <br />and with the changes as noted. <br /> <br />V.
