<br />City of Centerville <br />Parks and Recreation Meeting Minutes <br />March 2, 2022 <br />The Committee reviewed Staff’s Request for Committee Action regarding the items and discussed the <br />submitted quote for the purchase of ag. lime from Bryan Rock Products for $5,100 ($30.50/ton + $3.50/ton <br />– 150 tons needed). <br /> <br />Motion by Committee Member Seeley, seconded by Committee Member Kubat to Recommend to the <br />City Council to Approve the Quote Submitted by Bryan Rock Products in an Amount Not to Exceed <br />$5,100 to Improve the Transitioning Between the Infield/Outfield and that the Public Works Director <br />be Provided with Discretion to Make All Necessary Repairs as Deemed Appropriate. All in favor. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />The Committee discussed forwarding a letter to the Lions discussing remedies to their requests and thanking <br />them for their input regarding the condition of the field(s). <br /> <br />3. Draft Monument/Donation Policy <br /> <br />Tabled. <br /> <br />VII. APPROVAL OF FEBRUARY 2, 2021 P & R COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES <br /> <br />Motion by Committee Member Kubat, seconded by Committee Member Akpan to Approve the <br />Minutes of the February 2, 2021 Meeting with the Following Corrections: delete “is” between “and” <br />& “was” in the First Sentence of the Minutes and Change “suggesting” to “suggested” in the First <br />Sentence under VIII. Updates #4 as Amended. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />VIII. UPDATES <br /> <br />1.
