CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Regular Meeting of the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission held in Council Chambers on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at 6:30 p.m. <br />I. CALL TO ORDER <br />The meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m. <br />1.Roll Call <br />Present: Chairperson Linda Broussard-Vickers (via Zoom) <br /> Commissioner John Krueger <br />Commissioner David Kubat <br /> Commissioner Darrell (DJ) Olson, Jr. <br /> Commissioner Richard Nelson <br />Absent: Commissioner Les Kuiper <br />Commissioner Nick Twohy <br />Staff: City Administrator, Mark Statz <br /> Council Liaison, Russ Koski <br /> <br />II. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />III. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />Administrator Statz noted that there were no changes to the agenda. <br />Motion by Commissioner Kubat, seconded by Commissioner Krueger to Approve the <br />Agenda as presented. All in favor. Motion carried. <br />IV. PUBLIC HEARINGS (6:30 PM or shortly thereafter) <br /> None <br />V. AWARDS, PRESENTATIONS & APPEARANCES <br />1.Mr. Alexander Haffke, 6908 Oak Circle – Request Fence Ordinance Amendment to <br />Allow Construction Directly on Property Line without Abutting Property Owner <br />Consent. <br />Administrator Statz noted that Mr. Haffke would not be able to attend the P&Z meeting this month. <br />Administrator Statz introduced the item, and discussion ensued among the commissioners. Points <br />of interest include potential issues with the property line, maintenance issues with having to ask 6 <br />neighbors for their permission to enter their property. The commission decided to table the item for <br />now. <br />Motion by Commissioner Nelson, seconded by Commissioner Olson to Table the item. <br />All in favor.
