City of Centerville <br />Planning and Zoning Commission <br />March 1, 2022 <br /> <br /> <br />City Administrator Statz stated if it is listed in the CUP that the yard needs to be concealed <br />from the trail then they can always ask the applicants to add additional fencing if needed <br />later. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Kuiper, seconded by Kubat to recommend approval of the <br />Site Plan as submitted for Shingle Creek Capital LLC, with the condition that all <br />requirements of the City Engineer be followed. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />VIII. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />1. February 1, 2022 Planning & Zoning Commission Meeting Minutes <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Olson, seconded by Commissioner Nelson to approve the <br />Planning & Zoning Commission meeting minutes of February 1, 2022. All others in <br />favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />IX. Announcements and Updates <br /> <br />1. Council Member Liaison <br /> <br />Council Liaison stated the ice fishing event and contest was great and thanked the Lions club <br />and the volunteers for their hard work. <br /> <br />2. Administrator’s Report <br /> <br />City Administrator Statz stated they are in need of a few volunteers for Fete Des Lacs; <br />specifically they are looking for a parade coordinator and a 5K Run Coordinator. He noted <br />there is also a vacancy on the Parks and Recreation Committee if anyone knows someone <br />interested in applying. <br /> <br />He provided a brief update on the City projects and their current progress. He noted they are <br />anticipating an application to come through on Friday from an online retailer looking to build <br />a fulfillment center on the 40 acres of land to the north of the Max Storage facility. He noted <br />due to the complexities that can come with a project of this size, they would not set it for a <br />public hearing right away, but instead will have it before the Commission prior to that. <br /> <br />X.
