CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />RES. #22-0____ <br />Resolution Accepting Bid <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the 2022 Thin Overlay Program & City Hall <br />Parking Lot Improvements, bids were received, opened, and tabulated according to the law, and <br />the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: <br />Contractor Total Base Bid <br />Bituminous Roadways, Inc. $771,270.00 <br />#2 Valley Paving, Inc. $872,454.25 <br />#3 North Valley, Inc. $916,819.59 <br />#4 Dresel Contracting, Inc. $1,353,699.40 <br />ANDWHEREAS, it appears that Bituminous Roadways, Inc. is the lowest responsible bidder, <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF CENTERVILLE, <br />MINNESOTA: <br />1.The mayor and clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the attached contract with <br />Bituminous Roadways, Inc., in the name of the city of Centerville, MN for the 2022 Thin Overlay <br />Program & City Hall Parking Lot Improvements according to the plans and specifications therefor <br />approved by the city council and on file in the office of the city clerk. <br />2.The city clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits <br />made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder <br />shall be retained until a contract hasbeen signed. <br />Adopted by the city council this 10 day of August, 2022. <br />Mayor <br />City Clerk <br /> <br />
