City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />August 10, 2022 <br /> <br />V. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br />1. None. <br /> <br />VI. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES <br /> <br />1. May 25, 2022 City Council Work Session & Meeting Minutes <br /> <br />Mayor Love provided an opportunity for Council to make revisions if they desired. <br /> <br />Council Member Koski stated there is a grammatical error on page 3 of 7, paragraph 10 <br />change “think” to “thin” overlay and paragraph 12, should read “Mayor Love asked <br />council if anyone desired to motion the landscaping proposal”. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Koski, seconded by Council Member Mosher to Approve the <br />May 25, 2022 City Council Meeting Minutes with the noted changes. All in favor. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />VII. CONSENT AGENDA <br /> <br /> Mayor Love provided an opportunity for others to add or delete any items. Adding check #35311. <br /> <br /> Administrator Statz explained it was a check made to Menards for materials to construct the fence <br />around the water tower property. Council Member King asked if we paid sales tax. Administrator <br />Statz stated no. Attorney Glaser verified that the exempt status applies to all taxes including local <br />taxes. <br /> <br /> Mayor Love provided an additional opportunity for others to add or delete any items. Council <br />Member Mosher pulled item #4 and Council Member King pulled item #5. <br /> <br />1. Parks, Trails and Recreation Donation and Memorial Policy <br />6. Preferred Vendor Designation – Emerald Ash Borer <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member King, seconded by Council Member Mosher to Approve <br />Consent Agenda Items 1, 2 3, and 6 as Presented. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Item #4 - Council Member Mosher asked where the food setup would be. Administrator Statz <br />stated they tried to detail that in the amendment to the permit - not to block traffic or the trail or <br />any heavily used area. Council Member Mosher stated the food was biggest thing and knew it was <br />workout with Main Street Market.
