City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />August 10, 2022 <br /> <br />b. Koski – <br /> Planning & Zoning Commission – Council Member Koski gave no report. <br /> Fire Steering Committee – Council Member Koski gave no report. <br /> <br />c. King - <br /> Economic Development Authority – Council Member King gave no <br />report. <br /> Fire Steering – Council Member King gave no report. <br /> <br />d. Mosher – <br /> Police Governing Board – Council Member Mosher stated that Mr. Jacob <br />Chamberlin sworn in, that the department was at 15 officers and he <br />welcomed him and his family. <br /> Economic Development Authority – Council Member Mosher gave no <br />report. <br /> <br />e. Love – <br /> North Metro Telecommunications Commission – Mayor Love gave no <br />report. <br /> Police Governing Board – Mayor Love commented that the pursuit policy <br />had been changed. He reported on hiring updates. He stated that they had <br />an opportunity to look at the budget and impacts on cities (hiring and <br />staffing) and that it was a good meeting. <br /> <br />Mayor Love stated that both the EDA and Parks & Recreation have <br />openings and that currently Affidavits of Candidacy are been accepted for <br />municipal offices (Mayoral seat and two (2) Council seats). He thanked <br />Election Judges for their dedication and stated that they do a wonderful job. <br /> <br />He stated that he recently met with the School Superintendent and they <br />spoke of changes for the upcoming year and the Superintendent’s <br />appearance before Council shortly. <br /> <br />XI.
