The county canvass date is set for Tuesday, November 15th. When looking at a date for your own canvassing board you have until 10 days after the election which would be the 18th. I wish I could say you can schedule it before the 15th but in all honesty, with this being my first time through, I don't want to overpromise and underdeliver. Appointing Election Judges A reminder that the deadline to appoint election fudges is Friday. October 14th. Your resolution appointing judges can include language authorizing the clerk to appoint additional election judges, as needed. I have included a sample of what that could look like. It's a pre-primary resolution but some of the verbiage could be useful. Returning Ballots for Another Voter (Agent Return) As a reminder, an agent may only return ballots for 3 voters (in addition to their own) M.S. 20313.08 Anyone returning a ballot other than their own must show ID, be at least 18 years of age and complete the agent return log. If the voter/agent has their signature envelope still sealed inside of the return envelope, we recommend that you open the return envelope and conduct a visual inspection of the signature envelope to make sure that all required steps are completed.
