APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />The agenda was approved as presented. <br />Motion by Commissioner Thompson, seconded by Commissioner Kuiper to Approve the <br />amended Agenda. All in favor. OLD BUSINESS <br />1.Ord. #130, Section 130.03 – Discharge of Firearms – Kurt Glasser <br />Administrator Statz introduced the item, noting that the ordinance is being reviewed because the <br />city receives calls from residents who are concerned about safety; inquiries often refer to activities <br />like duck hunting within the city limits and using bows and arrows in backyards, etc. Attorney <br />Glasser noted that there are overlapping regulations and second amendment rights to consider as <br />revisions are made. Discussion ensued about banning the discharge of firearms and projectiles <br />versus restricting and/or regulating them.
