City of Centerville <br />City Council Meeting Minutes <br />October 12, 2022 <br />Administrator Statz stated that just to be clear the amended Ordinance was previously approved. <br />However, Staff felt it appropriate to publish a summary of the ordinance as it was very lengthy and costly <br />to publish in its entirety. He reported that the revised Ordinance had been forwarded to the PCA as <br />required. Council Member King stated that there were numerous pages contained in the previous packet <br />and that it would be very lengthy to explain all changes and how would the public review it. <br />Administrator Statz stated that the actual changes were contained in the previous packet, that they would <br />be available to the public at City Hall or if requested. Council Member King stated that if he was present <br />at the previous meeting, he would not have voted in favor of adoption of the amendments. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Koski, seconded by Council Member Lakso to Approve Res. #22-028, <br />Approving Summary Publication of Ordinance #125, Second Series – Storm Water Management <br />All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />IX. NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />1. Anoka County Recycling Contract <br /> <br />City Clerk Bender appeared before Council and stated that the contract before them this evening is City <br />City’s request for SCORE Fund for the upcoming year. She also stated that the contract is renewed <br />annually and is customary. She reported that additional programs/offerings were taken into consideration <br />and enhancements such as additional containers being installed throughout the parks for the upcoming <br />year. The amount that they are requesting from Anoka County is $41,671.50. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Koski, seconded by Council Member Lakso to Approve the 2023 <br />Agreement Residential Recycling Program with Anoka County Contract# C0009406 as presented. <br />All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />2. Council Meeting Schedule <br />a. Scheduling Special City Council Meeting on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at <br />6:00 p.m. to canvas election results. <br />b. Cancellation of November 23, 2022 City Council Meeting and Work Session <br />c. Addition of Work Session to December 14, 2022 City Council Meeting <br /> <br />Administrator Statz stated that Staff is recommending that scheduling a Special Council on Wednesday, <br />November 16, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. for canvassing election results. He stated that the time frame of this does <br />not align with our regular council meeting. Mayor Love stated that he is not available November 16, but <br />would be available November 15. Mayor Love stated that there will be four Council Members available <br />that day to canvas the results. <br /> <br />Mayor Love stated that he will be talking about scheduling our City Administrator’s Performance Review <br />and work on that meeting in next few weeks and find opportunity to get done. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member King, seconded by Council Member Mosher to Approve the <br />Scheduling of Special City Council Meeting on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at 6:00 pm to <br />canvas the election results, as presented.
