Please call <br />city hall at 651-792-7933 with any questions you may have regarding the following openings. <br /> Parks & Recreation Committee – Open Seat <br />o Meets monthly on the first Wednesday of the month at 6:30 p.m., in chambers <br /> Economic Development Authority – Open Seat <br />o Meets monthly on the third Wednesday of the month at 6:30 p.m., in chambers <br /> <br />PLANNING & ZONING <br />Ordinance Reviews <br />Nuisances – Diseased Trees <br />The Commission will revisit its suggested language changes to the diseased tree section of the city’s nuisance <br />ordinance. At the City Council’s October 12 meeting, there were questions raised about the suggested language <br />and existing code language regarding the authority of the designated staff person who would determine if trees were <br />dead, dying or diseased. The Council tabled the proposed ordinance change to allow staff and the Planning <br />Commission to address these concerns. The issue will be discussed at the December 6 P&Z Commission meeting. <br /> <br />Temporary Dwellings and Structures <br />With input from the city’s Building Official, Police Chief and Fire Inspector, the Commission examined the city’s <br />code regarding Temporary Dwellings and Structures. There was consensus that temporary occupancy, with proper <br />notification to the city, and compliance with city code is okay; the Commission discussed adding language <br /> <br />
