Christmas in the Park <br />This was the first annual Christmas in the park sponsored by the Centerville Lions/Centennial Fire District. <br />Weather and turn-out was more than expected (500 people participated). The Lions offered free hot cocoa, hot <br />dogs, pb and j sandwiches, a bonfire, photos with Santa and his elves along with horse-drawn carriage rides. <br />Centennial Fire reports that they accepted toys and food donations (564 lbs.) at this event also and thank all that <br />donated! <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />COMMUNITY <br />DEVELOPMENT <br />Project Map <br />Staff has prepared a map of all active developments to help everyone get a better picture of whatÓs <br />happening around our community. The number you see at the heading of each item in this section <br />corresponds to a number on the map, which is attached to the end of this report. <br /> <br />(9) Block 7 Property (Downtown) <br />The city approved a purchase agreement with a developer (Schifsky Companies) who continues to explore <br />the viability of the site for a townhome style development. City staff recently met with Mr. Schifsky to look <br />at ways to more efficiently engineer the siteÓs stormwater infrastructure. <br /> <br />stnd <br />(3)(4) Old Mill Estates 1 and 2 Additions <br />The developer has finished black dirt and seed work in boulevards and around ponds. They continue to <br />work to finalize wetland and other watershed permits. <br /> <br />
