City of Centerville <br />City Council Meeting Minutes <br />November 9, 2022 <br />City Attorney Glaser – Reported that two (2) new officers were added to staff of the <br />Centennial Police Department, Ashley Koivisto and Danielle Wressel who bring experience <br />from the Federal Reserve and dispatch/commercial vehicle inspections. <br /> <br />Junior Council Member Peterson – Reported on the position of the teams associated with the <br />high school (football, volleyball, etc.) <br /> <br />2. Council Reports <br /> <br />a. Lakso - <br /> Parks & Recreation – No report was given due to absence. <br /> Anoka County Fire Protection Council – No report was given due to absence. <br /> <br />b. Koski <br /> <br /> Planning & Zoning Commission – Council Member Koski reported that the Commission <br />met on November 1, 2022 and discussed parking/outside storage along with temporary <br />dwellings. He stated that additional discussion would take place in the future regarding <br />both items. <br /> Fire Steering Committee – No report was given. <br /> <br />c. King - <br /> Economic Development Authority – Council Member King stated that there would be a <br />meeting on November 16, 2022. <br /> Fire Steering Committee – No report was given. <br /> Parks & Recreation Committee – No report was given. <br /> <br />d. Mosher - <br /> Economic Development Authority – Council Member Mosher stated that there would <br />be a meeting on November 16, 2022. <br /> Police Governing Board – No report was given. <br /> <br />e. Love – Mayor Love reported that he had attended the Parks & Recreation Trunk or Treat event <br />which included local businesses, the Centerville Lions, Centennial Fire District and City of <br />Centerville snowplow. He stated that the MC acknowledge the City and the event and that he <br />was happy to attending. He reported that he had the opportunity to announce for the recent <br />Centennial football game and that he was very honored to be the MC. He congratulated Mr. <br />Darren Mosher and Ms. Michelle Lakso for their recent election results along with thanking <br />Veterans for the ability to have the right to vote. He suggested that individuals desired to give <br />this year to give to local food shelves as there is a rather large need this year associated with <br />Thanksgiving. He desired to with the public a Happy Thanksgiving. <br /> North Metro Telecommunications Commission – No report was given. <br /> Police Governing Board – Mayor Love stated that the next meeting would occur on <br />November 14, 2022 <br /> Other Mayoral Reports - No report was given. <br /> <br />Mayor Love recessed the regularly scheduled City Council meeting at 7:37 p.m. <br />Page 6 of 7 <br /> <br /> <br />
