Page 2
CENTERVILLE MOBILE APP
The City of Centerville just launched its new mobile app. You can stay informed while away
from a laptop or desktop computer. The app is available at any app store.
CITY HALL HOURS
Closed January 16, 2023 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
REMINDERS FROM THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT
Please do not place your garbage and recycle containers in the street. We realize this area is enticing, but it
creates a hazard for motor vehicles and the snowplows. Garbage and recy-
cle trucks are equipped with a hydraulic extending arm to grasp the contain-
ers from up to 3 to 5Ó. Please place the containers at
or near the end of your driveway.

Please shovel abutting sidewalks within 24 hours of a
snowfall event. Clearing of the abutting sidewalk to
your property shows pedestrians that you care about
their safety.

Please teach your children not to play on or in the snowbanks near the roadways due to
fall, cave in and snowplow hazards. The snowplows will be pushing the snow back
within the next week or two allowing for more snow from the roadways. Children can
not hear the snowplow while playing in them nor can the plow driver see them.

REMINDER FROM THE CENTENNIAL FIRE DISTRICT
Please keep snow removed from fire hydrants as they need to be visible and
accessible from the street without landscaping items around them. If the
Fire Department has to spend time trying to find a hydrant under the snow,
they lose precious time needed to fight fires. The house/business you help
save may be your own.
REMINDER FROM THE DNR

QR Code for Our River

Connections below
AN EDUCATIONAL PIECE WAS JUST RELEASED ON ÐOUR RIVER CONNEC-
TIONÑ
A video made by Anoka County Water Resources Collaborative to share and engage the com-
munities about issues affecting local waterbodies and groundwater providing assistance in be-
havioral changes by individuals for protecting and improving the health of such natural re-
sources.
