<br />Page 3 <br />CENTENNIAL FIREÏSANTA PARADE <br />The Centennial Fire District collected a total of 873.8 lbs. of food, $361.93 <br />in cash and a lot of toys during their annual Santa Food Drive Parade on <br />December 10, 2022. They also collected 564 lbs of food and a large <br />amount of toys at Christmas In The Park. All of the donations will be dis- <br />tributed to residents in need in the Centerville/Hugo Area. The Fire District <br />appreciates seeing everyone out along the parade route and at the Christ- <br />mas In The Park sponsored by The Centerville Lions. The District also <br />appreciates all of the donated items which makes this event such a suc- <br />cess. <br />SCOUT DONATIONS <br />The Centennial Fire District also wanted to thank Mr. Nicholas Mancl (Scout Troop <br />439) and Jacob Mancl (Troop 136) for the donation of popcorn. The two (2) brothers <br />worked together selling popcorn in the area and sold quite a lot of it. The popcorn de- <br />lighted the crew of CentervilleÓs Santa Parade while visiting neighborhoods. <br />IMPORTANT UPCOMING DATES <br />RECYCLE TECHNOLOGIES <br />The first event of the year is scheduled for March 11, 2023 from 8 a.m.Ï12 p.m., 1525Ï99th Lane N.E., <br />Blaine, MN 55449. A mailing will be delivered to your residence shortly which will contain coupons and <br />items of collection. If you have questions, please contact them at: 763-559-5130. <br /> <br />PARKS & REC. <br />Join the Parks & Recreation Committee for their Annual Skate/Sled Nights. They are scheduled for January <br />14, 2023 and February 10, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. Ï 9:00 p.m. at Laurie LaMotte Memorial Park. Free bonfire, <br />popcorn, hot cocoa, and smores. Wargo Nature Center will be at the January 14 event with snowshoes and <br />kicksleds.
