CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />REQUEST FOR <br />COUNCIL ACTION <br />Agenda Item # Department: Requested Council Meeting Date: <br />January 25, 2023 <br />Administration <br />WS 2.3 <br />TITLE OF ISSUE: <br />Use of City Logo by the Public <br />BACKGROUND AND SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION: <br />As part of a larger strategy, staff is working on some plans to strengthen our City's brand. For the immediate <br />future, that will continue to mean using our existing logo. We have been working with professionals to "clean <br />up" our logo and ensure we have consistent use of it across all departments. <br />One of the things we would like to do is to order some logoed apparel for city staff, and perhaps the council and <br />committees. We have also had some requests from members of the public, wanting to order their own logoed <br />shirts, etc. Staff is concerned with the use of the city's logo by those not directly involved with the city.
