The development world has been busy and occupying my time.

The original building permit for 2050 Main Street notes that a park fee was paid ($750) for that lot
(see attached). However, since no building permit was ever issued for 2070 Main Street, a park fee
was never charged. The park fee charged with your recent project is only applicable to 2070 Main
Street (charged at the current fee of $2175/acre). This did not include any acreage from the 2050
lot. With this payment, there will be no further park dedication fee due if 2070 was to ever have a
building constructed on it. The fee of $2175/acre is the more favorable, for you, of the two ways of
calculating the park dedication fee, with the other being 10% of the value of the land.

I hope this correspondence meets your needs. Let me know if you have further questions.

Mark Statz, PE
City Administrator/Engineer
City of Centerville
1880 Main St.
Centerville, MN 55038
O: 651-429-3232
D: 651-792-7931
C: 651-775-5126
mstatz@centervillemn.com
www.centervillemn.com
@centervillemn
