CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />REQUEST FOR <br />COUNCIL ACTION <br />Agenda Item # Department: Requested Council Meeting Date: <br />February 8, 2023 <br />Administration/Engineering <br />WS 4 <br />TITLE OF ISSUE: <br />Park Dedication Fee Appeal - Curtis Ventures <br />BACKGROUND AND SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION: <br />A park dedication fee of $5,850.75 was charged as part of the building permit issued for the American Roofing <br />Supply project. The project contained two lots of record (2050 and 2070). The lot at 2050 had already paid a <br />park dedication fee when it was constructed. This fee was based on the square footage of property at 2070 <br />Main Street, which had never paid a park fee. Curtis Ventures (the developer and land owner) is appealing the <br />decision to pay this fee.
