AdministratorÓs Report <br /> <br />Executive Director Lewis reviewed the AdministratorÓs Report as presented in the packet. <br /> <br />VIII. OLD BUSINESS <br /> <br />1. Contract with LOCi for Downtown Redevelopment Market Study <br /> <br />Executive Director Lewis introduced this item and the EDA motioned to approve the contract with <br />LOCi. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Mosher, seconded by Commissioner Swenson to approve a <br />contract with LOCi for a downtown redevelopment market study. EDA members Swenson, <br />Mosher, King and Remillard voted Aye. Commissioner Smith voted Nay. With a 4 to 1 vote, <br />the Motion carried. <br /> <br />Commissioner Smith requested there be discussion ahead of a vote Î he expressed concern about <br />the contract, namely the timeline, opportunity for public input, and budget for the study. <br />Discussion ensued and background information about the scope of work for the study was shared <br />with new member Tony Smith. The EDA made a second motion. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Mosher, seconded by Commissioner Swenson to approve a <br />contract with LOCi for a downtown redevelopment market study. EDA members Swenson, <br />Mosher, King and Remillard voted Aye. Commissioner Smith voted Nay. With a 4 to 1 vote, <br />the Motion carried. <br /> <br /> <br />IX. NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />1. ANNUAL ELECTION OF OFFICERS <br /> <br />Vice-President Remillard introduced this item. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Smith, seconded by Commissioner Swenson to elect Commissioner <br />Remillard as President. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Remillard, seconded by Commissioner Mosher to elect <br />Commissioner Swenson as Vice-President. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Remillard, seconded by Commissioner King to elect Commissioner <br />Smith as Treasurer. All in favor.
