Economic Development Authority (EDA) <br />th <br />The EDA met on January 18and welcomed Mr. Tony Smith to the board. The EDA also approved a contract <br />for a downtown redevelopmentmarket study in the M1 and M2zoning districts. The purpose of the study is to <br />determine the feasibility of mixed-use development in downtown. <br />CENTENNIAL LAKES <br />POLICE <br />DEPARTMENT <br />Check out North Metro <br />TV’s video on CLPD <br />Officer <br />Tyler Schroeder <br />CENTENNIAL FIRE DISTRICT <br />Firefighting is a difficult job to begin with, but you can do your part to <br />make it easier by clearing snow from around fire hydrants. This saves <br />precious time for our crews, leading to better outcomes. <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT <br />ProjectMap <br />Staff has prepared a map of all active developments to help everyone get <br />a better picture of what’s happening around our community. The number <br />youseeat the heading of eachitem in this section corresponds to a <br />number on the map, which is attached to the end of this report. <br />(9) Block 7 Property(Downtown) <br />The city approved a purchase agreementwith a developer (Schifsky Companies) who continues to explore <br />the viability of the site for a townhome style development. City staff recently met withMr. Schifsky to look <br />at ways to more efficiently engineer the site’s stormwater infrastructure. <br />stnd <br />(3)(4)OldMillEstates 1and 2Additions <br />The developer has finishedblack dirt and seed work in boulevards and around ponds. They continue to <br />work to finalize wetland and other watershed permits. <br />Construction of the gravel base for the trail between Old Mill Court and Laramee Lane is now complete. <br />Concrete work will be completed in the spring to ensure the base has a chance to settle over thewinter. <br />(16) CentervilleSelf Storage <br />Thefacilityis now open forbusiness.The developer has made progress to address drainage issues along <br />the north side of the facility and will continue to work on minor clean-up items. <br /> <br />
