March 15, 2023 <br />Planning and Zoning Commissioners <br />City of Centerville <br />1880 Main Street <br />Via to City Staff <br />Centerville MN, 55038 <br />RE: Resignation of Commissioner Kubat from the Centerville Planning and Zoning Commission <br />Dear fellow commissioners, <br />I regretto inform you that on March 15, 2023 I tendered my resignation as a member of the <br />Planning and Zoning Commissionfor the City of Centerville. I understand that thisresignation may seem <br />abrupt so I wanted to address you all and ensure that you know that itis in no way related to my work <br />on the commission or with any ofyou individually. In contrast I appreciate each and every one of your <br />contributions to the meetingsand I am immenselyproud of the trust you all placed in me by selecting <br />me as your chair. <br />As you all know well, it can be difficult to manage the demands of a fast paced career, a young <br />family, and additional community service opportunities.Recent events have led me to reevaluate where <br />I can dedicatethat limited time and I have decided that I need to narrowthe focus of my outside of <br />work obligations.I know that despite the small numbers of current commissioners, each and every one <br />of you are more than capable of carrying on the high-qualitywork of the commissionin assisting the <br />council with our growing and vibrant small town. Although I will not be there every meeting as I have in <br />the past, I’m sure you’ll hear me from time to time at a public hearing or two, and I wishyou all the best <br />in selecting a new chair and a new voice for the seat I leave behind.
