It is very portable, yet very capable and <br />powerful. The mixer is only about 5 pounds and remains on the stage by the musicians and the powered <br />speakers are each about 27 pounds and sit on the floor, chairs, or poles. <br /> <br />With this gear, you want to run it from an iPad while sitting with the audience as with any live mixing, <br />continuous adjustments are needed during the performance for the best audience experience. <br /> <br />You would also likely want a couple of smaller powered speakers to use as monitors for the band. We use a <br />couple of older QSC K8Ós for this if needed. <br /> <br />There are MANY fine options for portable, small PA systems.
