City of Centerville <br />City Council Meeting Minutes <br />March 22, 2023 <br /> <br />1. Administrator/Engineer Report Î Administrator Statz stated that his report was in CouncilÓs <br />packet for their review and he would be happy to answer any questions they may have. He <br />reviewed the MayorÓs State of the City address scheduling, board vacancies stated that March <br />30, from 7:30-9 a.m. is the MayorÓs State of the City address and that breakfast, Fete logo <br />contest, Main Street Market update, April 29, 2023 Park Cleanup, SHIP grants, P & Z public <br />hearings, researching THC and sale of edibles/moratorium, Centerville Cares information on <br />recycling, Senior Expo scheduled for May 18, the Downtown Community Survey, Annual <br />Garage Sale Days and Clean Up Days, Seasonal Summer Public Works Maintenance hiring, <br />Block 7 project update and the current purchase agreement expiring and development <br />inquiries. <br /> <br />Junior Council Member Shaw reported that the Centennial High School SATs would be happening the <br />following week with all of them being online. <br /> <br />2. Council Reports <br /> <br />a. Taylor Î Council Member Taylor thanked Council for the opportunity to serve in the capacity of <br />City Council Member; that she was grateful for the opportunity and looked forward to working <br />with the other members and the citizens of Centerville. <br /> Parks & Recreation Î Council Member Taylor gave no update. <br /> Anoka County Fire Protection Council Î Council Member Taylor gave no update. <br /> <br />b. Koski Î Council Member Koski welcomed Brandon Hill to the Centennial Fire District and stated <br />that he was unable to attend the State of the City session. <br /> Planning & Zoning Commission Î Council Member Koski stated that Administrator <br />Statz provided an update of the meeting and Council Member Koski stated that no <br />members of the public were in attendance of the Public Hearing. <br /> Fire Steering Committee Î Council Member Koski gave no report. <br /> <br />c. King - <br /> Economic Development Authority Î Council Member King gave no update. <br /> Fire Steering Committee Î Council Member King gave no update. <br /> Parks & Recreation Committee Î Council Member King gave no update. <br /> Fire Protection Council Î Council Member King gave no update. <br /> <br />d. Mosher Î <br /> Economic Development Authority Î Council Member Mosher stated that they reviewed <br />annual report, reviewed a survey for local business, purchase of swag bags and LOCiÓs <br />study being reviewed at the next meeting. <br /> Police Governing Board Î Council Member Mosher stated that the next meeting was <br />scheduled for May 8, 2023. <br /> <br />e. Love Î Mayor Love thanked Mr. David Kubat for serving the City on the Planning & Zoning <br />Commission and well thought of. He wished him the best in his future endeavors.
