The federal agency has 90 days to respond to our submittal. <br />Development Inquiries <br />Commercial/Residential Developer exploring opportunities on Block 7 <br />PUBLIC WORKS <br />2022 Consumer Confidence Report <br />The City’s 2022 Consumer Confidence Report is available online at the City’s website. <br />Here is a link: https://tinyurl.com/8w3344fk, utilize the QR Code to the right or request <br />a copy from City Hall by calling: 651-792-7933. <br />Commercial Water ConnectionFeeAssistance <br />At the last City Council meeting, the Council voted to extend the program through the end of 2023.The <br />program offers half-priced hook-up charges for businesses hooking to city water. <br />th <br />20Avenue (CSAH 54) Corridor Study <br />The latest progress meeting for the Corridor Study was held on February 13. Stakeholders were shown <br />concept maps, laying out potential intersection treatments, access modifications, street cross sections, speed <br />limits, and pedestrian routes. <br />Next, the team will be reaching out to key area land and business owners along the corridor to gain their <br />perspectives on various alternatives. Following those meetings, the concept layouts will be adjusted and <br />readied for a broader public input phase. <br />st <br />The study is examining 20th Avenue from Birch Street to 80th Avenue, and the intersection of 21Ave. and <br />Main Street, aimed at identifying improvements needed in the short and long-term to accommodate regional <br />growth. <br />WellheadProtectionPlan <br />The Minnesota Department of Health held a kick-off meeting with city staff and consultants for the <br />implementation of the city’s Part-2 Wellhead Protection Plan. The group reviewed items in the documents <br />and the timelines associated with various activities.Staff will be following up on the action items over the <br />course of the next few months. <br />City staff recently completed final paperworkand receive reimbursement from the Department of Health <br />associated with a grand for sealing of a well in the downtown at no cost to the city or resident. With the <br />completion of this grant, the city can now apply for other grants related to the Wellhead protection plan. <br />2022 Thin Overlay Program and City Hall Parking Lot Improvements <br />Assessment invoices where mailed out to all affected property owners. Some property owners moved <br />between the first hearing and the adoption so those individuals have also been notified. If you are a property <br />owner and have questions, please contact City Hall at 651-792-7933. <br />City Hall Parking Lot Lighting <br />The City Councilawarded a contractto complete the parking lot lighting project, contingent upon a grant <br />award through the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). The first grant application <br />th <br />deadline is April 15. If awarded, the lights would be installed early this summer. <br /> <br />
