Annual Park Cleanup <br />The Committee would like to thank the <br />Scouts from Pack 423 and Troop 136 <br />for their dedication to making <br />Centerville parks a great amenity for all. <br />The Committee would like to thank a <br />neighborhood group from the Peltier <br />Lake Drive/Peltier Circle area for the <br />efforts in cleaning up Royal Meadows <br />Park also. <br />Annual Fete des Lacs Logo Contest <br />The entries have been received and are <br />being considered by the Logo Committee. This is going to be a very daunting task for them as many talented <br />artists participated. The Committee will be meeting shortly and will choose the lucky winners. First prize <br />will land the lucky artists $100, second prize is $50 and honorable mention is $25. Prizes will be given both <br />at the Middle and Elementary School levels. The Mayor will present the winners with their prizes shortly. <br />Statewide Health Improvement Partnership (SHIP) Grant Submissions <br />The Parks & Recreation Committee has recommended acceptance of two grants ($6,000 for hydration <br />stations at Laurie LaMotte Memorial Park and Acorn Creek Park) and ($2,500 for a bike repair station at <br />Laurie LaMotte Memorial Park). The Council will consider acceptance of the grants and award of a contract <br />to install the equipment at their next meeting. <br />Main Street Market <br />Registration remains open for vendors. Please utilize the QR Code to the left or visit <br />the Main Street Market Facebook page for up to date information or registration: <br />www.facebook.com/CentervilleMainStreetMarket/ <br />New Audio Equipment <br />The new audio mixer for the Music in the Park and other parks programming has been ordered but it is <br />backordered until June/July.
