Annual Park Cleanup The Committee would like to thank the Scouts from Pack 423 and Troop 136 for their dedication to making Centerville parks a great amenity for all. The Committee would like to thank a neighborhood group from the Peltier Lake Drive/Peltier Circle area for the efforts in cleaning up Royal Meadows Park also. Annual Fete des Lacs Logo Contest The entries have been received and are being considered by the Logo Committee. This is going to be a very daunting task for them as many talented artists participated. The Committee will be meeting shortly and will choose the lucky winners. First prize will land the lucky artists $100, second prize is $50 and honorable mention is $25. Prizes will be given both at the Middle and Elementary School levels. The Mayor will present the winners with their prizes shortly. Statewide Health Improvement Partnership (SHIP) Grant Submissions The Parks & Recreation Committee has recommended acceptance of two grants ($6,000 for hydration stations at Laurie LaMotte Memorial Park and Acorn Creek Park) and ($2,500 for a bike repair station at Laurie LaMotte Memorial Park). The Council will consider acceptance of the grants and award of a contract to install the equipment at their next meeting. Main Street Market Registration remains open for vendors. We have our fingers crossed that the old equipment will fair well during this time.
