February 22, 2023 City Council Work Session & Regular Meeting Minutes <br /> <br />Council Member Koski requested that Mayor Love be removed under Updates for NorthMetro TV as he <br />made the comments on Page 5 of the minutes. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Mosher, seconded by Council Member Koski to approve the February <br />22, 2023 Work Session & Regular City Council Meeting Minutes as requested above. All in favor. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />VII. CONSENT AGENDA <br /> <br />1. New Tobacco License, 1801 Main Street (Center Market, LLC) (Subject to Successful <br />Background Checks) March 18 – December 31, 2023 & Void CenterMart’s Existing <br />Tobacco License for 2023 Per City Code Chapter 116, §116.03, (E) <br /> <br />Mayor Love provided an opportunity for members to pull items for additional discussion. <br /> <br />Mayor Love wanted to discuss Item #5 and stated that it was a Resolution, Proclamation Memorializing <br />Chef Hot Hands. He stated that he would be missed throughout the business community, festivals, etc. <br />He stated that his death was unfortunate. <br /> <br />Council Member Koski called the Council’s attention to the Centerville Lions upcoming event (Cadillac <br />Dinner) scheduled for April 22 and had concerns about the times requested. He stated that it may have <br />to do with preparation for the event. He also thanked the Lions for all that they do for the community. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Koski, seconded by Council Member Mosher to Approve of the <br />Consent Agenda as Presented. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />VIII. OLD BUSINESS <br /> <br />1. Appointment of City Council Member <br /> <br />Administrator Statz provided the audience and Council with a brief update of what has transpired to this <br />point regarding the appointment.
