<br />Approved <br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br /> PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Regular Meeting of the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission held in Council Chambers on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />I. CALL TO ORDER <br />The meeting was called to order at 6:30p.m. <br /> <br />1. Roll Call <br />Present: Chair Les Kuiper <br />Commissioner Darrell (DJ) Olson, Jr. <br /> Commissioner Richard Nelson <br /> <br /> Commissioner Bruce Thompson <br /> <br />Absent: Vice-Chair Commissioner Jon Krueger <br /> <br />Vacancy: Two <br /> <br />Staff: Administrator Mark Statz, Assistant City Administrator, Athanasia Lewis <br /> Council Liaison, Russ Koski <br /> <br />II. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> <br />III. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />There were no changes to the agenda. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Thompson, seconded by Commissioner Nelson to Approve the <br />Agenda as presented. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />IV. PUBLIC HEARING (6:30 PM or shortly thereafter) <br /> <br />1. Variance Request – Ryan Companies US, Inc./on Behalf of Amazon.com Services, LLC <br /> <br />Administrator Statz introduced this item as presented in the packet. The request is for a variance to <br />allow two more additional ground signs near the entrances to the site (south of the northern entrance <br />st <br />to the site from 21 Avenue and west of the eastern access to the site from Fairview Street) for <br />wayfinding purposes. <br /> <br />The public hearing was opened at 6:37 p.m. <br /> <br />V.
