City of Centerville <br />City Council Meeting Minutes <br />April 26, 2023 <br />Council Member Koski also thanked the Lions for the recent Cadillac Dinner event and for the volunteer <br />work in the community. He stated that he very much appreciated them and thanked them for the donation <br />All in favor. Motion carried <br />3. 1737 Main Street — Power Line Relocation <br />Assistant City Administrator Lewis again reviewed the issue with Council. <br />Discussion was had that Council would be setting precedence and concern for that if opting for Option <br />A, expenditures associated with moving the power lines ($20,000 - 60,000), remaining consistent with <br />the Master Plan, etc. <br />Consensus of the Council was that they were in favor of Option A, the importance of the Planning & <br />Zoning Commission's input, willingness to work with developer, two unique parcels, etc. <br />Motion by Council Member King, seconded by Council Member Taylor to Entertain Option A for <br />Presented Sketch Plans Associated with Development of 1737 Main Street as Per Submitted <br />Findings of Staff. All in favor. Motion carried. <br />X. COUNCIL/ADMINISTRATOR ANNOUNCEMENTS <br />1. Administrator/Engineer Report — Assistant City Administrator Lewis stated the <br />Administrator's report was contained within the packet and briefly reviewed same. <br />Junior Council Member Shaw reported that SATS scores have been received. <br />2. Council Reports <br />a. Taylor — <br />■ Parks & Recreation — Council Member Taylor gave no report. <br />■ Anoka County Fire Protection Council — Council Member Taylor gave no report. <br />b. Koski — Council Member Koski congratulated Corporal Schroeder and welcomed new <br />officer Hernandez to Centennial Lakes Police Department <br />■ Planning & Zoning Commission — Council Member Koski gave no report. <br />■ Fire Steering Committee — Council Member Koski stated that the meeting took place <br />last week, the audit and review of financials for 2022 were presented. It was anticipate <br />that the expenses and revenue was up by $20,000 over the budget. He stated that there <br />was healthy discussion regarding capital expenditures and replacement/refurbishing of <br />trucks, that there was concern for bonding and increases in levies and staffing salaries. <br />C. King - <br />Economic Development Authority — Council Member King stated that the LOCi study <br />presentation reported consumed the meeting, providing a large amount of information <br />including public input, the market, and etc. <br />Fire Steering Committee — Council Member King gave no report. <br />Fire Protection Council — Council Member King gave no report. <br />Page 7 of 8 <br />
