CITY OF CENTERVILLE REQUEST <br />FOR COMMISSION ACTION <br />E e teryiffe <br />Estadfished 1857 <br />Agenda Item # <br />Department: <br />Requested Meeting Date: <br />VII.1 <br />Planning <br />September 5, 2023 <br />TITLE OF ISSUE: <br />M-1 & M-2 Zoning District Regulations <br />BACKGROUND AND SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION: <br />Staff wishes to have the commission address an incongruence between the City's Zoning Code, the Downtown <br />Master Plan and the City's Comprehensive Plan. City Code for the M-1 and M-2 districts both begin by saying <br />that the intent of the zoning districts is to implement the Downtown Master Plan. However, the code lists a <br />density range for each district as 12-30 units per acre. The Downtown Master Plan only has this range listed for <br />the M-1 district. The M-2 District is listed at 20 - 45 units per acre.
