December 7, 2022 Meeting Minutes <br /> <br />Motion by Committee Member Peterson, seconded by Committee Member Seeley to approve <br />the minutes of the December 7, 2022 Park & Recreation Committee Meeting as submitted. <br />All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />VIII. UPDATES/ANNOUNCEMENTS <br /> <br />1. Staff Updates <br /> <br />a. Promotion of Parks – Business Expo (Fete des Lacs) <br /> <br />Ms. Bender stated that the Committee was welcome to set up a table at the Business Expo during <br />the Fete des Lacs Celebration in order to inform the public of all the activities offered and <br />potentially gain contacts for volunteers, etc. <br /> <br />b. Banners/Table Coverings <br /> <br />Ms. Bender reported that a suggestion had been made regarding the purchase of a covering with <br />the Parks & Rec. logo with the potential for a clear covering to provide protection of the covering. <br />Ms. Bender stated that she would research costs associated with the purchase of a table covering. <br /> <br />2. Committee Member Updates <br />Committee Member Peterson reported that there was a remaining vacancy on the Committee. <br /> <br />3. Council Liaison Update <br /> <br />Council Liaison Taylor was very interactive with the Committee during the meeting but did not <br />provide an update. <br /> <br />IX. ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion made by Committee Member Peterson, seconded by Committee Member Akpan to <br />adjourn the Regularly Scheduled April 7, 2023 Parks & Recreation Committee meeting at <br />8:40 pm. All in favor.
