City of Centerville <br />City Council & Work Session Meeting Minutes <br />September 27, 2023 <br />STAFF: City Administrator, Mark Statz <br />Assistant City Administrator, Athanasia Lewis <br />II. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />III. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />Mayor Love provided an opportunity for others to add or delete any items. City Administrator Statz <br />stated that there was an individual in the audience that wanted to address Council. Mayor Love added <br />the appearance under Appearances/Presentations. <br />Motion by Council Member Koski, seconded by Council Member Tavlor to Approve the Set <br />Agenda as Amended. All in favor. Motion carried. <br />IV. APPEARANCES/PRESENTATIONS <br />1. Mr. Derek Lind, Ramsey, MN, - Representing (Anoka County Election Integrity Team, <br />ACEIT) <br />Mr. Lind introduced himself to Council and provided several informational pieces to Council regarding <br />ACEIT and what they are asking for, regarding election reform within Anoka County. He briefly stated <br />that they are requesting that elections return to the systems used 30 years ago, removing electronics from <br />the process, hand counting ballots, and signing in on the old-style, name, address registration book. <br />V. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />None. <br />VI. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES <br />1. August 9, 2023 City Council Meeting Minutes <br />Mayor Love provided an opportunity to Council to make modifications if needed. <br />Motion by Council Member Mosher, seconded by Council Member Taylor to Approve the August <br />9, 2023 City Council Meeting Minutes as Presented. Roll Call. All in favor. Motion carried. <br />Administrator Statz reminded the Council that when a member attends via Zoom, roll call votes were <br />needed. <br />VII. CONSENT AGENDA <br />1.
